Job Summary
Licensed Beauty Advisor duties include performing makeup, waxing, and other services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, educating clients on trends and product knowledge, maintaining licensure and health/safety standards, and delivering personalized client service in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities also cover driving store results, rebooking services, promoting inclusiveness and teamwork, and adhering to Sephora policies to ensure a safe, enjoyable shopping experience. The role requires active licensure, strong knowledge of beauty products and techniques, the ability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays), and physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are performed
- 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment
- Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
