Job Summary
Licensed Automotive Service Technician for the evening shift in Mississauga, Ontario. Perform vehicle inspections (stationary and road tests), diagnose issues, conduct Ontario Provincial Safety Inspections, recommend repairs, execute preventive maintenance (oil changes, suspension, brakes), and document repairs and estimates. Work with the reconditioning team to ensure vehicles meet Clutch mechanical and safety standards; communicate status and timelines; utilize Google Drive and Slack; contribute to process improvements. Requires 310S Red Seal or equivalent, experience with a range of brands (domestic, import, European), strong teamwork, attention to detail, multitasking, and a valid drivers license. Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with potential overtime; $34.00-$39.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift premium; $3,500 signing bonus after 3-month probation; comprehensive benefits. Remote/work setup not applicable to this on-site shop role.
Required Qualifications
- 310S Red Seal or equivalent certification or training
- Experience working with a variety of car brands (domestic, import & European)
- Valid Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract
- Able to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including overtime based on business needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
- Desire to learn new skills
- Comfortable using technology (Google Drive, Slack)
