Job Summary
Conduct basic vehicle maintenance including tire rotations, oil changes, and diagnosing complex problems. Isolate systems or components causing issues, then drive vehicles for testing using diagnostic computers and compression gauges. Repair or replace worn parts proactively to maintain efficiency and accuracy. Requires an automotive service technician red seal, valid driver's license, and clean abstract. Schedule includes Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an automotive service technician red seal
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Can effectively communicate automotive issues clearly
- Can work independently, managing his or her time and workflow
