Job Summary
Conduct telehealth and face-to-face counseling sessions for clients seeking support for depression and anxiety. Perform intakes and diagnoses according to DSM-5 guidelines while managing a full caseload of 25 sessions weekly. Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to diverse populations including couples and children within a hybrid model requiring 50% in-office presence in Toms River, NJ. Maintain 30 hours of weekly availability to support client needs across a flexible seven-day schedule from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
Required Qualifications
- Approved by the board as a LAC
- Must be seeking independent licensure and living in New Jersey
- Must reside within 45 minutes of the office location
- Ability to work in the office for the probationary period and then work a hybrid model (50% in office and 50% remote)
- A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety
- Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly
- A behavioral health generalist who is open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children
- Invested in helping your clients achieve measurable progress
- Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools
- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing (preferred) according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor
