Job Summary
Complete substance use Comprehensive Assessments using ASAM's 6 Dimensions and DSM-5-TR criteria, and develop integrated treatment plans for adults, adolescents, and children. Deliver individual and group counseling to educate clients on substance use disorders while coordinating treatment and facilitating access to community resources. Document weekly treatment plan reviews, maintain records, and participate in case conferences and interagency committees. Provide training to clinical staff and present to community organizations, ensuring strict confidentiality and adherence to DAANES reporting requirements. Requires Minnesota LADC licensure or eligibility, a bachelor's degree, and a valid driver's license for travel across southeastern Minnesota.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a human service-related field
- Minnesota Alcohol and Drug Counselor Licensure (LADC) or licensure eligible
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must hold a current certificate in CPR/AED/First Aid or be willing to obtain
- Employment requires successful completion of a background investigation
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel as needed to client or organization locations throughout SE MN
