Job Summary
Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor (LADC) responsible for planning and coordinating the client program, overseeing resident care from admission to discharge, creating and monitoring individualized treatment plans, and facilitating therapy. Duties include coordinating treatment planning and monitoring, providing individual and group therapy, screening referrals and coordinating insurance payments, maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality, staying current with policies and quality improvement programs, and collaborating with families, supervisors, and caregivers. The role is based in Minnesota with resident-care responsibilities in a Minnesota facility and requires active licensure as an LADC in Minnesota. Required Qualifications
- Must currently be licensed as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of Minnesota
- At least one year of experience treating individuals with substance abuse, or one year of work experience in the management or administration of direct service of individuals with substance abuse
- Experience in long-term care
- Knowledge of community organizations relating to and working with substance abuse/dependency
- Knowledge of current laws, public policy, and trends in the industry regarding alcohol and drug abuse and its treatment
