Job Summary
Develop and facilitate the Center's alcohol, drug, and tobacco prevention program while educating and counseling students to reduce drug-related separations. Create individualized case management plans to enhance student retention, administer the drug testing program, and coordinate community resources for substance use education. Provide comprehensive, individualized counseling and mentoring to students throughout their enrollment, ensuring progress and completion of the Job Corps program. Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA laws, follow integrity guidelines, and exchange clear information with staff and DOL/Company. Mentor students on Career Success Standards and work in partnership with all departments to ensure effective supervision and services.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification that meets minimum state licensing or certification requirements to practice in the state where the center is located
Desired Qualifications
- A degree from an accredited school preferred
- A minimum of one-year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field preferred
