Job Summary
Deliver direct skilled bedside nursing care in the home setting and collaborate with patients and families to preserve dignity while addressing needs within the interdisciplinary plan of care. Participate in on-call rotation to meet patient/family needs. Administer skilled nursing care under RN supervision and physician-directed plan of treatment, ensuring documentation and compliance with physicians' orders, state licensure, agency policies, and applicable health care standards. Assess individual status and care/instruction needs for the client.
Required Qualifications
- Active License as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida
- Active CPR license
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of nursing experience
- Experience in a Home Health environment
- Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and proof of current auto insurance
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
