Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on Med/Surg 3 during night shifts, including IV therapy, under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The LPN directs and assists ancillary nursing staff, collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, and applies the Nursing Process to gather data, plan, and evaluate patient care. Responsibilities include adapting to rapid unit changes, maintaining professional standards and credentials, effective communication with patients and families, and ensuring a high-quality patient experience. Requires current LPN license in the practicing state and BLS certification; education includes a high school diploma or equivalent. Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN License in the state of practice
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience working with and maintaining confidential information and working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
