Job Summary
Inpatient rehabilitation LVN/LPN provides nursing care, health teaching and counseling under RN supervision. Assists with patient assessments, vital signs, medication administration, ADLs, and rehabilitation activities; documents care, maintains a clean, safe environment, and supports the care plan in collaboration with therapists. Requires current vocational nursing license and BLS; ACLS preferred. Night shift, full-time position in Sarasota, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered license to practice vocational nursing in the state where currently practicing.
- Current BLS via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Current ACLS certification via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross a plus.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional vocational nursing.
- Strong clinical skills in basic patient care, medication administration (under RN supervision), and vital signs monitoring.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of rehabilitation principles and a passion for helping patients regain their independence.
