Job Summary
Perform the nightly License Plate Inventory (LPI) to ensure all cars are inventoried into the system during scheduled shifts, typically overnight from midnight to 8 AM. Act as a cashier when directed and provide accurate information to the public regarding airport parking operations and general airport details. Maintain a neat uniform, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and handle cash and equipment while standing or walking. Requires a valid driver's license, basic math skills, and ability to read simple instructions. Located in Shreveport, LA.
Required Qualifications
- Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Availability to work 3rd shift and/or week-ends
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company
- Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to handle cash and equipment
- Must be able to sit occasionally
- Must be able to climb or balance occasionally
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance
- Ability to be in complete uniform at all times
