Job Summary
License Owner to open and operate Stranger Soccer in Johannesburg, bringing the brand to life in the assigned city. Recruit, train, and lead a small central team (2-3) plus freelance game hosts to kick off operations. Identify and secure prime venue slots to run Stranger Soccer games. Drive creative sales and marketing (digital and hands-on) to introduce the platform to customers. Oversee a schedule of games to ensure customer delight and repeat participation. Receive support from Singapore headquarters’ operations and technology teams.
Required Qualifications
- A passion for football/soccer
- Business background, ideally in management and customer service
- Entrepreneurial background or spirit
- Commitment to owning, driving, and scaling the Stranger Soccer brand in the assigned market
- Ability to recruit, train, and lead a small central team (2-3 people) and freelance game hosts
- Ability to identify and secure prime slots at football venues
- Sales and marketing acumen (digital and hands-on) to introduce the platform to customers
- Strong local market knowledge and network in the football community
