Job Summary
Facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting using a strengths-based recovery-focused approach. Collaborate with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide integrated healthcare and achieve patient goals. Requires a Master's degree in a mental health field, minimum two years of related experience, and current or temporary Indiana licensure. Full licensure is required while working toward it.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education
- Minimum two (2) years experience in related field
- Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills
- Knowledge of substance use disorders treatment
- Temporary license to practice
- Recognized as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) by the State of Indiana
- Working towards full licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)
- Drug screen
- TB test
- Extensive background checks (including Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Education Verification, and Professional References)
- Fully vaccinated against COVID19
Desired Qualifications
- Community Mental Health experience
- Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems
- Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC)
