Job Summary
Facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders using a strengths-based, recovery-focused approach. Deliver integrated healthcare within a multi-disciplinary team by collaborating with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to achieve patient goals. Maintain diagnostic and treatment planning skills while navigating social service, community resource, legal, and child welfare systems. Requires a Master's degree in a mental health field, two years of related experience, and a temporary Indiana license or recognized associate licensure (LSW, LMHCA, LMFTA). Full licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) is required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education
- Minimum two (2) years experience in related field
- Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills
- Knowledge of substance use disorders treatment
- Temporary license to practice
- Recognized as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) by the State of Indiana
- Working towards full licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)
- Drug screen
- TB test
- Extensive background checks (including Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Education Verification, and Professional References)
- Fully vaccinated against COVID19
Desired Qualifications
- Community Mental Health experience
- Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems
- Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC)
