Job Summary
Implement nursing care for assigned patients and assist the RN in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Utilize advanced patient care skills following education and training, including mandatory 30-hour IV certification. Provide Basic Life Support/CPR and maintain proficiency in commonly used computer applications. Work flexible shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours across seven urgent care locations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse as part of the commitment to patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
- Meet the educational requirements as outlined by the Florida Board of Nursing
- Thirty (30) hour IV certification
- Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
- FL Licensed Practical Nurse license
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR certification
- Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Flexibility to work at all 7 of the urgent care locations
