Job Summary
Provide mental health care to the inmate/patient population in a correctional facility. Conduct intakes, assessments, and crisis interventions; deliver individual and group counseling; develop and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team; maintain accurate progress notes and discharge summaries; ensure a safe, therapeutic environment; comply with facility policies, HIPAA, and PREA; participate in coordination of referrals upon release; require strong clinical assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care skills.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LSW, LPC, or equivalent in the state where services are provided
