LIBRARY MEDIA SPECIALIST-SECONDARY

Collaborate with classroom educators to establish inquiry-based learning experiences and co-teach curriculum objectives. Develop and maintain an inclusive, safe teaching environment that empowers learners to become critical thinkers and ethical information users. Manage the school library's staff, budget, and physical spaces while championing equity, access, and intellectual freedom for 24/7 resource access. Evaluate emerging technologies to supplement school resources and support learners in constructing new knowledge through collaborative research. Address broader educational issues at the district and professional association levels while developing the library's strategic plan and policies.
