Library Media Specialist

Foster an atmosphere encouraging student and staff library media center usage while consulting on material selection, management, and utilization. Collaborate with teachers to plan research and online safety instruction, assisting users with resources and technology. Organize, circulate, and maintain library and building technology inventories, including program records and the school web page. Analyze curriculum changes to adjust instructional needs, implement effective technology policies, and serve as a district technology liaison. Provide basic tech support, promote district policies on confidentiality and copyright, and assist in supervising support personnel. Adhere to cataloging guidelines, protect facilities, and remain current on instructional practices.
