Job Summary
Library Innovation Assistant at Jonathan Alder High School supports the District Librarian in daily library operations, book circulation, instructional support, and technology-enabled learning. Responsibilities include assisting with checkouts, shelving, and inventory; supporting online learning participation; gathering and preparing instructional materials and technology; providing small group or individual research and digital literacy support; promoting inquiry-based learning and reading across grade levels; helping students use databases and digital resources; teaching digital citizenship and evaluating sources; and creating engaging library displays while supervising student helpers. The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers and staff to provide access to learning resources, technology, and academic support for students.
