Librarian

Welcome customers to the library, assessing needs and connecting patrons with appropriate resources. Answer directional and informational questions while providing research assistance, readers' advisory, and chat reference. Process account applications, verify information, check materials in and out, and manage holds and interlibrary loan requests. Assist patrons with catalog access, Internet stations, and equipment troubleshooting. Plan, deliver, and monitor programs for all ages, including early literacy classes, while marketing services through displays and social media. Navigate technology changes and public library trends by developing skills with new systems and creating promotional materials.
