Librarian Community Engagement

Lead community engagement initiatives as part of the Community Response team at Auckland Central City Library, building relationships with diverse Auckland communities, co-designing services to address wellbeing, loneliness, homelessness, youth homelessness, and delivering frontline library services with supervision. You will support staff, promote the library’s book collections and digital resources, solve challenging situations, and help implement programmes and events that respond to community needs with a people-first approach, while aligning with Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
