Job Summary
Support student leaders and community organisers to build impactful campaigns focused on equity, justice, and liberation. Provide individual mentorship to elected officers while ensuring projects remain evidence-based and reflect the latest student opinion. Lead the development of organising strategies that empower students from marginalised backgrounds and connect the Liberation and Community Organising team with Academic and Research Representation groups. Lobby the University to improve representation and ensure diverse voices are central to democratic processes.
Required Qualifications
- experience empowering others to build impactful campaigns for change
- able to support and mentor volunteers
- knowledge of democracy and representation in member-led organisations
- planning and communication skills
- experience and confidence in working on equity, diversity and inclusion issues
- passion for empowering others and giving them the tools to shape their own experiences
- natural problem-solver
- excellent administration skills
