Job Summary
Conduct quarterly Gemba walks and operational assessments to evaluate adherence to standards and identify improvement opportunities. Maintain KPI tracking tools, action registers, and visual management systems while analyzing monthly performance to identify trends and missed targets. Facilitate structured root cause analysis using 5 Why, fishbone diagrams, and A3 thinking to lead 8D corrective action activities. Coordinate improvement activities across departments, ensuring disciplined follow-up on action owners and due dates. Serve as the local point of contact for Operational Excellence, supporting daily management routines, Andon systems, and escalation processes. Coordinate local training and coaching related to CI tools and problem solving. Escalate unresolved barriers to Project Leaders or the Transformation Office when local countermeasures are insufficient. Collaborate with CI peers to share lessons learned and standardize practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent experience of education and practical experience
- 0–5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, quality, continuous improvement, industrial engineering, production supervision, or a related operational support function
Desired Qualifications
- Training in Lean fundamentals, 8D methodology, root cause analysis, or equivalent continuous improvement tools
- Lean Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience supporting improvement projects, corrective action processes, KPI reviews, daily management routines, or operational performance follow-up
