Job Summary

Maintain existing relationships with state operators and associations while identifying and contacting prospective clients regarding sponsorships. Prepare agendas, lead meetings, and develop action plans to strengthen liaison presence across designated regions. Promote programs by attending conferences on behalf of state operators and association members, while selling additional services and software. Strengthen partnerships through support, information, and guidance, and refine sales and marketing techniques. Maintain professional knowledge by researching the oil and gas industry and participating in professional societies. Travel 30-40% to offsite locations to support implementation of state and association meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • minimum of one-year sales, or other related experience
  • Effective sales and negotiating skills
  • proven sales experience/history
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and job instructions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to clearly communicate detailed information to clients, coworkers, and management
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • ability to interact in a positive and professional manner to develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, coworkers and management
