Job Summary
Dynamic claims and account management position responsible for effectively managing an assigned inventory of medical professional and general liability claim files through conclusion, including cases of complexity or unusual issues. Core duties include establishing prompt contact on new losses, evaluating coverage, investigating claims, documenting facts, directing the litigation process for nationwide programs, maintaining up-to-date plans of action, obtaining expert reviews, pursuing contributions in multi-defendant scenarios, ensuring compliance with statutes and client contracts, establishing and adjusting reserves, and delivering professional client service. Key skills include strong communication, leadership by example, collaboration with teams and clients, problem-solving, project management, and a proactive, results-oriented approach to case resolution and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Working knowledge of jurisdictional issues
- Ability to travel for mediations, trials, client meetings and industry conferences
- Strong communication skills

- Project management skills
- Ability to manage an assigned inventory of claims to resolution
- Experience with litigation management and claim reserves
- Ability to document coverage analysis and draft coverage letters
