Job Summary
Remote liability adjuster handle complex casualty claims with independent judgment, conducting investigations, evaluating coverage and liability, setting reserves, and negotiating settlements. Responsibilities include documenting files, identifying subrogation opportunities, and mentoring others; travel for training may be required. The ideal candidate will have claims experience and a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, and reside in Virginia near the Richmond area. Eligible for a benefits package and potential bonus; this is a remote, work-from-home role within Virginia, with a preference for proximity to the Richmond Branch Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and two years of claims or customer service experience, preferably with casualty claims, required.
- Equivalent educational experience will be considered.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferred.
