Job Summary
The Cheer Head Coach at Liberty High School is responsible for designing and implementing cheerleading activities, overseeing assistant coaches and student athletes, and providing guidance and supervision during practices and events. Key responsibilities include developing game strategies, evaluating student performance, maintaining compliance with eligibility requirements, and promoting the program within the community. Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree in a related area, a Missouri State Teaching Certificate or completion of the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course, and have experience in coaching with a focus on leadership and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in job-related area
- Missouri State Teaching Certificate or Completion of NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course
- Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course
- Sports First Aid Training
- CPR/AED Training
