Job Summary
Relief/Tramper LGV Driver for DPD UK, based in Hinckley, UK. Permanent, full-time role (40 hours/week) requiring Class 1 driving with CPC and Tachograph credentials; 12+ months of Class 1 experience and strong knowledge of UK roads. Drive state-of-the-art HGV fleet, perform bulk movements across the UK, and manage autonomous, route-driven work with 4 nights out per week sleeping in the cab. High autonomy and professional conduct expected; company supports work-life balance and offers night premium pay plus allowances. Remote/hybrid not applicable; position is in-person with a focus on maintaining the DPD network and timely deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 12 months of experience handling Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
- Safety-first mindset
- Able to work nights out (4 nights out per week)
- Ability to work with GPS/logistics tech
