Job Summary
Execute nationwide bulk collections and deliveries using GPS and digital tachographs while managing trailer swaps and overseeing live loading/unloading. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers, and prioritize safe driving in all conditions. Drive a modern, well-maintained fleet with fully funded CPC renewals, utilizing latest logistics tools to keep the network moving.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 12 months of experience handling Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
- Safety-first mindset
- Resourceful problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to hit deadlines
- Ability to deliver great service
- Monday to Thursday 18:30 - 03:00 shift availability
- Friday 14:30-03:00 shift availability
- Availability for shifts with potential +/- 1 hour variation
