Job Summary
Execute nationwide bulk collections and deliveries using GPS and digital tachographs to ensure 100% compliance. Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading while conducting thorough vehicle inspections and prioritizing safe driving in all conditions. Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country as a key player in the national transport department. Drive a modern, well-maintained fleet with fully funded CPC renewals, leveraging excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads. Work a permanent 40-hour week from Saturday to Wednesday, rotating shifts between 11:15 and 01:15.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
- Safety-first mindset
- Must be available for Saturday to Wednesday shifts
- Must be available for Saturday 11:15 to 23:45
- Must be available for Sunday 16:30 to 23:30
- Must be available for Monday 12:45 to 01:15
- Must be available for Tuesday 17:00 to 01:15
- Must be available for Wednesday 16:00 to 00:00
