Job Summary
Execute nationwide bulk collections and deliveries using GPS and digital tachographs to maintain 100% compliance. Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading while conducting thorough vehicle inspections and prioritizing safe driving in all conditions. Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country as a key player in the national transport department. Drive a modern, well-maintained fleet with fully funded CPC renewals. Work a permanent 40-hour week from Friday to Tuesday, including weekend shifts from 17:00 to 03:45 or 05:00, with typical variations of no more than an hour or two.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
- Safety-first mindset
- Resourceful problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to hit deadlines
- Ability to deliver great service
