Job Summary
Safely transport waste products between operational sites, adhering to all Health & Safety procedures while collaborating with central Operational Logistics teams and local site managers. Deliver sewage-related by-products to various destinations, including sewage treatment works, farmers' fields, energy generation centres, and the sewerage network. Perform manual tasks involving lifting and sorting waste materials, ensuring correct disposal or recycling. Maintain compliance with Anglian Water's standards and complete relevant occupational health checks, including maintaining three points of contact when working at height. This role requires a valid LGV Class 1 (C & E) license with CPC, a hands-on attitude, and the ability to work at height without restrictions. Candidates must be willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing prior to employment and during the role.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LGV driver's license with relevant endorsements-Class 1 Driving Licence ( C & E)
- Fully completed CPC
- A hands-on attitude: You're not afraid to get your hands dirty and enjoy physical work
- Reliable and Safe: A solid driving record with the ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles
- A Team Player: You'll work closely with your team and others, and sometimes work independently, so being flexible and adaptable is key
- Environmentally Conscious: A passion for sustainability and waste management
- Customer Focused: good communication and a polite attitude
- Must be able to work at height without restrictions
- Must be willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing prior to employment
- Must be willing to undergo random testing throughout employment
- Must be able to complete relevant occupational health checks including maintaining three points of contact when on a ladder
- Must be able to lift and sort waste materials
