Job Summary
Wash exterior of vehicles after service or sale and ensure thorough cleaning before guest delivery. Maintain finished vehicles in an orderly fashion throughout the sales lot and keep traffic flow through the wash rack smooth and efficient. Assist in all other areas of the Sales/Service department as needed while ensuring tools remain in good working condition. Follow all company safety policies, operations, and practices regarding automotive detailing chemicals. Maintain high ethical standards, grooming, and uniform appearance while working outdoors in all weather conditions. Shifts typically run 9am–6pm or 11am–close with weekend availability required.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language
- Work well with the public
- Must have a valid CA driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
- Availability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays
- Must be able to adjust, move, and lift objects up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including low and high temperatures, precipitation and wind, noisy environments, and small and/or enclosed spaces
- Must be able to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment
- Must be able to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of chemicals and products used in automotive detailing as well as safety procedures related to these products
