Job Summary
Leveraged Loans Transaction Management Specialist responsible for managing and negotiating loan documentation for leveraged loan products within JP Morgan's Credit Products Delivery team. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end transaction management of credit facilities, facilitating negotiations with clients or their legal counsel, coordinating with internal stakeholders (Front Office Bankers, Credit Risk Officers) and external counsel, ensuring adherence to internal controls, and contributing to broader processes and initiatives. Required skills include deep knowledge of loan documentation (LMA Syndicated Facilities; Financial Sponsor terms), strong understanding of lending products and related legal agreements, exceptional coordination and communication abilities, ability to identify issues and escalate promptly, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. The role involves interacting with global stakeholders and supporting timely resolutions in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth technical knowledge and understanding of loan documentation (in particular, LMA Syndicated Facilities; and Financial Sponsor precedent terms)
- Strong understanding of lending products and associated legal agreements
- Ability to identify problems and escalate them promptly
- Excellent coordination skills and a strong focus on risk & controls
- Proven organisation skills, with ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact professionally and confidently with the Front Office and other stakeholders globally
- Confident, proactive, assertive where required, and energetic
- Set high standards of performance for self
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly-changing business and technological environment
- Think strategically and tactically to generate ideas around process improvement, with the flexibility to adjust to new innovations, regulations, and business priorities
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
