Job Summary
Lead the growth and strategic direction of leveraged finance, originating and executing sponsor-backed, healthcare, and complex financing transactions. Develop relationships with private equity sponsors and advisors to drive new business while collaborating with Credit, Risk, and Capital Markets teams to structure and deliver client solutions. Oversee portfolio performance, asset quality, and risk-adjusted returns, presenting complex opportunities to senior management and credit committees. Mentor team members, foster a culture of accountability, and serve as the enterprise subject matter expert on leveraged finance products. Achieve goals for new loan production, fee generation, and average loan delinquency within a regional powerhouse serving communities since 1834.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of corporate, commercial, leveraged finance, sponsor finance, investment banking, or structured finance experience
- Demonstrated experience originating and structuring leveraged transactions, including sponsor-backed and healthcare finance deals
- Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, financial analysis, risk management, and banking regulations
- Proven ability to develop business, influence senior stakeholders, and build trusted client and sponsor relationships
