Job Summary
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case and transaction preparation, including drafting briefs, motions, contracts, and correspondence. Manage complex cases from inception to resolution by preparing for trials, negotiations, settlements, and closings while ensuring rigorous compliance with legal standards. Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships through regular updates, advice, and professional communication. Collaborate with lawyers and business professionals to develop innovative strategies and participate in high-level activities such as court hearings and depositions. Proactively engage in ongoing training and firm citizenship initiatives. This role is based in New York or Los Angeles with a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in fund finance, private credit, leveraged finance, debt capital markets, and/or structured finance
- JD Degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the state in which they are officing
- Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 firm and experience
- Minimum 2 years of leverage finance experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in fund finance, private credit, leveraged finance, debt capital markets, and/or structured finance
