Job Summary
Level III NDT Technician responsible for the NDT operations for which qualified and assigned; capable of interpreting and evaluating results per codes, standards, and procedures; developing, qualifying, and approving procedures; establishing techniques; and designating NDT methods to be used. Primary duties include maintaining and developing NDT personnel qualification and certification programs, ensuring program compliance, communicating with customers, providing training to personnel and customers, and representing the program to bodies such as ASME, API, and ASTM. Maintain awareness of applicable regulations and company policies; support training initiatives; participate in cost reduction, safety, and other duties; establish and track KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current ASNT NDE Level III certificate in the NDT method responsible (MT/PT/UT/ET/VT/RT)
- Adequate knowledge in the NDE method responsible
- Valid driver’s license
