Job Summary
Level II RT/CR Weld Quality Technician will perform piping and vessel inspections in a Fab Shop/lay-down yard using Radiography, train RT assistants, operate and grade film per customer procedures, and calibrate equipment. You will interpret and evaluate results against applicable codes and specifications, guide trainees and Level I personnel, organize and report NDT test results, generate and manage NDT data, and report findings, with additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Sufficient classroom hours and OJT for Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT and/or CR Weld Quality
- Must have valid TWIC card
- Must have valid state card
- Ability to pass DISA background and drug/alcohol screening
