Job Summary
The Level II PAUT Technician is responsible for setting up and calibrating NDT equipment, conducting tests, interpreting and documenting results, and training Level I personnel. Candidates must be certified as Level II in NDT methods, specifically PAUT, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with codes and standards governing NDT practices is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for PAUT
- Prior certification as an UTSW NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or certification as Level II per SNT-TC1A standards on Phased Array or UTSW
Desired Qualifications
- TWIC card as a plus
- Valid Driver’s License
