Level II NDE Technician

Job Summary
Perform safe Nondestructive Tests including Ultrasonic Thickness, Magnetic Particle, and Penetrant Testing while executing examination techniques and interpreting results. Apply PinnacleART's NDT standards to plan and execute work, cut insulation, install inspection ports, and manage paperwork such as Job Safety Analyses and permits. Train Level I technicians and ensure all safety procedures and requirements are met during operations. Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and possess a valid driver's license and TWIC card. Requires passing Level II UT, MT, and PT testing with PinnacleART, a minimum of five years of experience in refinery mechanical integrity programs, and relevant certifications like ASNT ISQ.
Required Qualifications
- Level II NDE Technician certification
- 5+ years of experience working in mechanical integrity programs of refineries
- UTT MT PT on the job training hours
- Rope access experience
- ISQ certification
- UTT MT PT Classroom hours
- Must pass Level II UT MT PT testing with PinnacleART
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Must pass background and random drug and alcohol screens
- Must possess a valid driver license and TWIC card
- Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills
- Positive team-oriented attitude
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perceive depth
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to operate motor equipment
- Employment eligibility to work with Pinnacle in the U.S.
- Must be able to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
