Job Summary
Set up and calibrate equipment, then conduct tests using appropriate NDT techniques. Interpret, evaluate, and document results while identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner. Direct the work of trainees and Level I technicians, ensuring adherence to codes, standards, and contractual documents. Edit and present numerical data effectively while maintaining confidentiality and promoting safety procedures. Requires Level II NDE certification with one year experience or Level I with adequate field hours. Full-time role available in PA, MI, FL, OH, LA, and MS.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED/Degree
- Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT
- Previous level II certifications/OJT
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for the following: MT/PT/UTT
- Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year experience
- Prior certification as an NDE Level I technician with adequate field experience hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC1A
- Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I
- Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the
