Job Summary
Conduct daily session notes, plan treatment sessions, and develop student goals under the supervision of a practicing occupational therapist. Complete formal and informal assessments, collaborate with other professions, and fulfill fieldwork assignments for both the OT program and iHOPE. Attend professional development opportunities while gradually managing a typical caseload. This Level II fieldwork internship offers an in-depth, rigorous experience for occupational therapy students within YAI's network of over 300 programs serving the intellectual and developmental disabilities community across Downstate New York and Northern New Jersey.
