Level II Eddy Current (ET) Techs - Willing to Travel

Job Summary
Set up and calibrate equipment, then conduct tests using appropriate NDT techniques to interpret, evaluate, and document results. Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner while obtaining and analyzing information skillfully to edit and present numerical data effectively. Work with minimal supervision in plant and shop areas around production machinery, often outdoors in noisy environments, while maintaining confidentiality and promoting safety procedures. Travel out of town as needed for projects, turnarounds, and call-outs. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED/Degree
- Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT
- Previous level II certifications/OJT
- Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for one or all of the following: UT, RT, MT or PT
- Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as an NDE Level I technician with adequate field experience hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC1A standards on all or one (1) of the following: UT, RT, MT or PT
- Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I personnel
- Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be physically fit and able to carry 50 lbs frequently for Radiography work
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
- Will be required to travel out of town as needed
- Must be able to tolerate climate changes
- Must be available for projects, turnarounds, and call-out as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial Radiographers Certification Card
- Completion of a forty (40) hour Radiation Safety Course
