Job Summary
Complete preventive maintenance and light line repairs independently with no technical supervision, including basic suspension, steering, brake, and tire services. Perform routine vehicle inspections using multi-point forms, execute work per repair orders and factory instructions, and document all tasks accurately. Assist senior technicians with complex repairs, examine vehicles for safety needs, and stay current on recalls and technical bulletins. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations through required training. Requires previous "D" level experience, valid license, and basic tools.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience as a "D" level tech
- Must have good prior work or school attendance
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have basic tools
- Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required
