Job Summary
The Level I or II NDT Technician is responsible for in-house laboratory inspection using Ultrasonic Testing (UT). Key duties include setting up and calibrating testing equipment, conducting tests, interpreting and documenting results, and directing the work of trainees. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in oral and written communication, and the ability to work independently. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, relevant NDT program completion, and certifications as specified.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting ASNT-TC-1A for UT
- NAS410 Certification
- Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or an NDE Level I technician with adequate experience hours
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) methods
- Ability to set up and calibrate equipment
- Familiarity with Aerospace Prime Contractor specifications
- Experience with immersion inspection
Additional Requirements
- Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the Company
- Must be physically fit and able to pick up 50 lbs
