Level I Inpatient Occupational Therapist (SEIU)

Conduct comprehensive assessments of inpatients with physical, cognitive, or functional deficits, planning and implementing individual and group occupational therapy treatments to achieve independence in daily living skills. Respond to all consults within 24 hours, complete evaluations and documentation, and interpret results to develop integrated diagnostic impressions and treatment goals. Educate patients and caregivers regarding findings, manage discharge needs including equipment and follow-up, and establish measurable short- and long-term objectives. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, supervise physical therapy assistants and students, and participate in continuous education, peer review, and departmental research initiatives.
