Job Summary
Resolve advanced IT issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 engineers while managing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Servers, network infrastructure, and firewalls. Administer Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams, utilizing PowerShell scripting to automate tasks. Plan and execute client IT projects such as server migrations, disaster recovery solutions, and cloud deployments. Oversee IT asset management ensuring compliance with ISO27001 standards and mentor junior IT support staff. This full-time, permanent role is based in West Dublin for a senior IT professional with 5–7 years of experience in MSP or client-facing environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of hands-on IT support experience
- Ideally in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or client-facing role
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 setup and administration
- Strong technical skills in Azure
- Strong technical skills in Active Directory
- Strong technical skills in DNS
- Strong technical skills in DHCP
- Strong technical skills in network protocols
- Solid experience with routers
- Solid experience with firewalls
- Solid experience with VPNs
- Solid experience with VLANs
- Solid experience with switches
- Solid experience with VOIP systems
- Proven success managing IT infrastructure
- Proven success managing projects
- Proven success managing migrations
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues under pressure
- Be legally authorised to work in Ireland
- Be based in or near West Dublin
