Job Summary
Teaching Assistant Apprentice role at Harefield School, starting September 2026, earning £8.00/hour (19+ pay rise after one year), 30 hours/week, 18-month duration. Assist with pupil support (including pupils with special needs), contribute to Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes, supervise pupils, foster inclusive learning, support lesson planning and activities, provide feedback to teachers, administer routine tests, and carry out clerical/administrative tasks. Training leads to a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship with monthly remote tutorials; potential full-time progression after completion. Pre-employment checks include DBS and right-to-work verifications; instruction in using IT and basic handheld devices. Requires Enthusiasm for education, patience, good communication and teamwork, and GCSEs in English and Maths (desirable).
Required Qualifications
