Job Summary
Senior Level 3 Service Desk Engineer responsible for acting as primary escalation point for complex client issues, troubleshooting advanced desktop/server/cloud/networking incidents, maintaining Microsoft 365/Entra ID/Intune/AD/GP/Windows Server environments, managing network infrastructure, delivering remote and onsite support, maintaining documentation/ticketing, coordinating with vendors, identifying remediation opportunities, and mentoring Level 1/2 engineers. Must have 5+ years MSP experience and strong skills across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, virtualization, security, scripting, and various firewall/VPN platforms. Role emphasizes leadership within Toowoomba MSP operations, with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in an IT support, infrastructure, or engineering role within an MSP environment
- Level 3 Service Desk Engineer responsibilities include senior escalation point, troubleshooting complex incidents, mentoring engineers
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN technologies
- VMware or Hyper-V virtualization
- Cpanel/WHM and Wordpress
- Security and networking capabilities
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- National Police Check required
