Job Summary
Level 3 Security Officer responsible for monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions, patrolling, standing guard, dispatch, and supervision of Level 1 and 2 Guards as needed. Requires 10+ years in law enforcement, graduation from a recognized law enforcement academy, FBI background check, psychological evaluation, and a Level 3 security card. Duties include examining doors/windows/gates for proper function, warning violators, expelling suspects, reporting facility issues, and coordinating emergency responses. Benefits include dental, health, life, and vision insurance. Schedule options include 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts across weekdays and weekends, with on-call and overtime. Required Qualifications
- Must have a Level 3 security card
- Must have previous law enforcement background (10 yrs +)
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to make strong judgments and decisions
- Graduated from a recognized law enforcement academy
- Pass FBI background check
- Complete New Mexico Boards and Commissions training levels
